Using lower color layers, and Matte Finish Paint (without Clear-Coating Layer) it was possible to reduce the overall Canopy and Tail Boom weight by a whopping 20%. Less weight is always better when it comes to RC helicopters. Tareq Alsaadi knows that very well, and pushed us to find a solution that in the end delivered not only weight savings, as well as a dead sexy “black and white” color scheme, also keeping great flight visibility with the high contrast paint scheme..
